The ABC of Dentistry

As a cosmetic dentist in the heart of Essex, Dr Basrai, known as Dave to his patients, plans smile makeovers around three simple steps.

A

Alignment

Aligning the teeth with clear aligners to place them in the right positions to harmonise with the face.

B

Bleaching

Whitening the teeth to make them look brighter and fresher.

C

Composite bonding

Using white, natural filling materials to make the edges of the teeth smoother and straighter.

Why now?

Patients tell us that video calls have made them more aware of their smiles. On screen, your whole face fills the frame and you cannot hide your smile anymore.

Some patients also notice their lower front teeth becoming more crooked over time. Others had braces when they were younger but stopped wearing their retainers. A makeover consultation is a chance to talk this through.

Nervous about the dentist?

We know visiting the dentist can feel intimidating, and some patients carry fears from childhood. Dr Basrai has trained in the psychology of patient care and focuses first on building trust. Your comfort comes first, and most smile makeover treatment does not need any needles or injections.
